My Ethics, Beliefs, And A Great Way To Announce Randy Kinder’s Podcast

I grew up in a union household. My father is Doug Dority, a labor leader and former president of the UFCW International. He raised me with the value of hard work, honesty, and integrity. I have taken those core values to heart and carried them throughout my life, my twenty-five-year career in the investment business, and in all of my relationships. Because I grew up in a labor family alongside other labor families, I’ve always considered those in the labor movement as my second family. For me, “remembering who I work for,” is more than just a mission statement; it’s a rallying cry and a lifestyle. Words that I live by.

Your Needs Are My Needs

If I don’t believe in a product, then I cannot sell it. If I don’t believe that the fund or the firm I represent will not elevate the life condition of my union brothers and sisters, then I cannot represent it. I consider myself a union and client advocate not because I attend rallies or picket lines, but because your needs are my needs. I understand that dollars invested in these funds is more than just a pension fund or a benefit for retirees. These funds are the result of the hard work of labor, and I must remain mindful and forever vigilant of that.
